Why Signs of Stress are Killing You Literary6 min read

There is an evil spirit, which apparently lives within everyone. It is just like a living ghost, and it can be represented in many different ways. It makes you in pain whether physically, mentally or psychologically. You cannot see it; however, you can absolutely feel it. Therefore, we offer you the knowledge to recognize it throughout our article via mentioning the major signs and symptoms of stress.

First of all,” What is the difference between stress and anxiety?”
Stress can be defined as pressure or tension exerted on a material object, or as a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances.
Anxiety can be defined as a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome or as a nervous disorder marked by excessive uneasiness and apprehension, typically with compulsive behavior or panic attacks.

The major signs and symptoms of stress can be divided into three sections:

  • The physical symptoms of stress

  • Low energy

Everyone has phases of low energy when we just want to take a load off. However, protracted mental and physical fatigue and chronic low energy can be a sign of serious health problems or it can only be because of too much stress.

Brain also suffers sometimes, but when it is permanently, that would be a grave issue.
Upset stomach, including diarrhea, constipation, and nausea.

Nausea is an uneasiness of the stomach that often comes before vomiting. Vomiting is the forcible voluntary or involuntary emptying (“throwing up”) of stomach contents through the mouth.

  • Insomnia

The condition of being unable to sleep, over a period of time.
Chest pain and rapid heartbeat.

In fact, chest pain is not actually related to the heart. It may be caused by problems in your lungs, esophagus, muscles, ribs, or nerves. Some of these conditions are serious and life threatening and some are not.

  • Frequent colds and infections

The common cold, including chest cold and head cold, and seasonal flu are caused by viruses. Some necessary medications should be used to relieve symptoms including sore throat, runny nose, congestion, and cough. Flu symptoms are similar, but include fever, headache and muscle soreness.

  • Loss of sexual desire and/or ability

Nervousness and shaking, ringing in the ear, cold or sweaty hands and feet.
Dry mouth and difficulty of swallowing.
We all need saliva to moisten and cleanse our mouths and digest food because it prevents infection by controlling bacteria and fungi in the mouth. However, when you do not make enough of it that would be uncomfortable.
